UNESCO declared Falconry as Global Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Falconry was officially inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage on 16th, Nov.2010.

As a member of International Association of Falconry, JFA had been working together to make the application for 6 years.

We have had some events about hawks :
demonstration workshops, lectures, exhibitions and so on,
since the non-profit organization "The Japan Falconers Association" was founded.
We really appreciate many people supporting our activity.
We, all of the members, will try to continue this activity which we hope is meaningful.
